In Texas, does collector take me to court?

I am form Texas and I have taken a vehicle previous year. Somehow I could not pay the installment. My question is that Under Texas law what cans the creditor do to me and my vehicle to collect the deficiency?

If I return my vehicle to voluntarily does they contact me for the paying any deficiency?
